Sunday was great. I got to spend some quality time with my family and also some time shooting. Having my little girl there by my side was a treat. Every time I loosed an arrow she said "Good job!" Talk about positive reinforcment! I still can't believe that her mom wasn't prompting her.
70m I gotta say I love shooting 70m at Nakaike. The sun is behind me and I can see the arrow arc all the way into the target. At 90m I loose it and need to use my scope to see how I did but at 70 I can usually tell that if it's high or low or left or right. I can't actually see the arrow in the target but I have a pretty good I dea where it went. At 50m the target is too small to provide a backdrop to watch the arrow against and at 30m and 18m it happens to fast to really track the arrow. Yup 70m is my favorite.

Back to the heavy limbs
After yesterdays performance at the Yokkaicghi indoor I decided to go back to ACE's and my heavy limbs. That meant I had to set up my rest, and tiller and alignment again. After initial set up I was right of centre and my group was loose. I moved my centre shot to the left and the group tightend up but was still right as you can see in the pic. I added one turn to the plunger and shot the second group!

Friday again
No pictures and no Video this time. but I'm feeling pretty good. I didn't get to shoot this afternoon because it was POURING rain. That means I was in far less of a rush today and I could do a better job with my classes. That made me feel more relaxed after work which meant when I got to the range in the evening I was mellow. I did so much better than on Monday and the coach said I seemed to have more energy. Last monday I managed to the top limb on the bottom and the bottom on the top. With some limbs that doesn't matter because they are identical. With lower end limbs though they have broader tolerances and they put them together in matched sets with the upper and lower limbs marked as such. A bow, when set up properly should have the lower limb set slightly stronger. If you have the lower limb on the top this makes the set up even or perhaps the top limb will be stronger. Makes it veryy hard to shoot well. Now If got that straightened out so I have more confidence about Next sundays competion. If I have the time between ends I'll post realtime scoring again so all my fans at home can keep up with action. LOL

Practising indoors
Well here's a couple vids of my practice at my school.
Not sure if this is good form but I feel like I'm in line.
Sorry for the glaring lights. I'll remember to turn those around some how.
